Happy New Year!!!! 
I hope everybody had a great Christmas. Always fun during the holidays, eating, getting presents, more eating, getting more presents! 
I’m thinking 2008 is going to be a GREAT year, I know I’m going to be sure to make it great and I hope everybody else does too!
I’m glad many of you who have posted comments are big fans of Avatar…especially of Toph. I really do appreciate the support and love doing it! It’s always hard to believe that I get to do such fun things and I love doing them! Thanks again for your kind words and support and keep listening, ya never know where you might hear me next!

Hey, I was looking at your website and your blog post JUST NOW popped up! I am so happy that you have gotten to work in the Avatar world! I love how you portray Toph in Avatar. You make her sound really strong. I admire you a lot and wish I had half the talent you possess right now. Hope you had a great Christmas and a Happy new year. I know it is probably not going to happen, but it would be great if you could have your own video interview about Toph. You’re famous now so i doubt you’ll ever read this to the end but I’ll be infinitely happy if you do. It’s hard for me to write in english, so sorry for my mistakes.
I’m writing just to say you’re simply the most awesome girl that ever existed in the world, and that your voice changed my life.
Well, let me explain. When I heard it the first time it was instant love. Quickly I became a huge avatar fan, just because of Toph and your voice.
I first thougt it was just a passenger feeling but time passed and my love continued.
It was so big that I spent much lifetime working in a online-game (my hobby) based on avatar. When I finished it, it rapidly became a success. In about 1 mounth I had thousands of people playing it. I made money, became quite famous where I live and gained much respect.
You should be asking “so what?”
Nothing, really. I just want’d you to know the much you represent for me and for my life. I’ll probably never meet you, never talk to you, never see you, but I still… love you.
Now everything i want is a chance to talk to you. Can I ask your msn/aim? Do you have a myspace profile or just other way to it?

hey jessie!!! u r soo cool!!! i’m a huge avatar fan, and toph is like my favorite character!!! it’s hard to put your voice to toph’s cuz you guys just seem so different, but i guess that’s what makes you soo talented!! i luv the fights between u and katara, they’re just so hilarious!! ur soo awesome, keep up the great work!!

I’m Srishty from India. I have been a great fan of Avatar ::: The Last airbender since it was first aired in our country in May, 2006. And I really liked the character you voiced for in the series, we got to watch the Book this year on 30th January and now I hope when i’ll get a chance to watch the Third book ::: Fire. There are many sources online to watch the streams and videos. So I was just wondering when is The book going to be aired? Is it the next year..??

I do have to admit that all my expectations at what you looked like were blown away, both you and your voice are beautiful! Hello there Jessie!
I was actually searching around and watching all the avatar episodes AGAIN for the billionth time. lol. It is really hard to keep yourself sane when you have been waiting for months for a new avatar episode. HOWEVER. I descovered if I keep watching the old episodes it holds me over a little. XD
Lets just cut it down to…
I AM A HUGE HUGE FAN.
I find myself vocing everyone’s lines several times a day as common responses to random everyday things. Such as “Toph you RULE” to Emily you RULE.
I’d like to let you and the avatar family know that I am a huge fan, of course I’m problay the billionth “huge fan” you’ve come across but how can there NOT be billions of avatar fans? The show is the most amazing I’ve ever seen!!
I never really saw any pictures of you, until now that is and I never pictured you the way you look. Why? Because take off my braces and we could be identical twins. Its pretty cool actually.
You’re very pretty, and your voice for Toph is amazing, sadly my voice is a bit lower..
Toph is my favorite character of all time, and I was going to cosplay her, but lately I started thinking Suki because of how much more I look like her, I might actually be able to pull that off.
Like you I’ve acted in various plays, including Meet Me In St.Louis which is VERY cool by the way!! Besides that I was in kindergarden when they proformed Annie so I wasn’t allowed to audition, however I have done plently of musicals since then. I’ve done The Music Man, Hello Dolly, Oklahoma, Snow White, Wizard Of Oz, and High School Musical. AND I also enjoy riding my horses.
But thats enough about me, I was just amazed how alike we were!! =]
So basically, you play TOPH AMAZINGLY, they couldn’t have picked a better voice actor. Congratz on the part, and keep up the good work!! Nice to meet you as well, even if it is only online I am honored to speak with you any where.

Hey, Jessie. Loved you in Avatar! Toph was one of my favorite characters. No make that shes my favorite. Loved avatar in general but ur character was overall the best. well my email is my aim so hopefully I can talk to ya sometime. Hey Jessie! I love you as Toph on Avatar! What I don’t understand is why everyone is saying the show is over… I have heard that there is going to be another season, and that Sozin’s Comet was just the end to the third book. They left the show at a cliff hanger, too, so I don’t know how they could possibly cancel it! Anyways, just asking if this is true or not. Thanks!

Hi there Jesse! My name is Lauren. I hope you’re doing well. I just wanted to tell you that you were fantastic on Avatar! Toph is my favorite character next to Katara and you portrayed her really well! I loved Toph’s sense of humor and her witty one liners, especially when she was putting Sokka in his place! I also really appreciated the fact that Brian and Mike put a visually impaired character in the show and really did their research. You don’t know how much that means to me. You’re probably wondering why by now. Well I’ll tell you. Like Toph, I am also visually impaired. I don’t let it get me down most of the time though and I try to use it to inspire others. When I first saw the “Blind Bandit” episode, I almost started crying because of how much I saw myself in Toph. Like Toph, I feel my own parents really don’t understand me or what it’s like to have a vision problem. My mother never wanted me and she showed it by hurting me verbally and neglecting me. I live with my Dad now and things are better, but even he doesn’t get it most of the time. He tries, but he just doesn’t understand.
Anyway, you did a wonderful job portraying Toph. You set a good example for visually impaired people to not give up and to not let anyone or anything stand in their way when it comes to following their dreams. I can’t thank you enough for that. I did have one question for you. Did you do anything special to prepare for the role of Toph once you found out you had landed it?
